Fire Damage Photo Gallery

Some things just need to be replaced.

When a fire consumes anything, it destroys it. In this picture is a charred wall and melted thermostat. Notice that even the paint on the wall began to crack and burn. Everything that is damaged in this instance needs to be replaced because it is not salvageable.

Fire moves fast!

Fires spread extremely fast, and soot can find an entrance to anything. This entire house was charred due to a fire in the kitchen. Thankfully, the joists in the attic were not damaged so none of those need to be replaced.

Stay up to code!

Though it may be a little expensive, it is undoubtedly worth it, in the long run, to keep your home up to code.  The light fixture in this room caught fire simply because the electrical wiring was not up to code. Many older homes are not up to code, so if you live in a classic old fashioned house, make sure you're home is up to code!

Wait until help arrives.

When there is a fire, at any property type, it is essential to try to keep your wits about you. It is always unsafe to reenter the fire-damaged location. Do not enter the fire loss unless you are permitted by a professional. This is for your safety.

The way soot settles

On a recent commercial fire loss, we took pictures of the unit before it had been touched too much. We took notice of how soot so heavily coats everything down to the tiniest crevice.
