Biohazard in our Community

No one wants to think about biohazard let alone talk about it. Biohazard can result from several things. Sewage backup, Arson & Vandalism, Meth Lab, Crime Scene Residues and in this case Bloodborne Pathogens. In everyday terms, Blood!

You see the above two pictures, a before and after. This vehicle belongs to one of our officers here n Cabarrus County. There job is to keep this town safe and secure. Most of us will never see or encounter what these officers go through on the daily bases. If you have been obtained or arrested you are placed in hand cuffs in the back of one these vehicles.  Desperate people resort to desperate actions and will inflict harm to themselves. This person banged there head repeatedly against the window. This resorted to blood all over the officers door and window. 

Exposure to bodily fluids or blood borne pathogens can pose serious health consequences. Failure to properly clean or dispose of hazardous materials can be unhealthy and dangerous. This is why these officers and first responders call the professionals to take car of there vehicles.
