Mold Grows Fast!

When a hot water heater decides to go, and in this case erupted and effected a large area. The pictures above show just how quickly mold can develop and spread if water is not cleaned up. If you are out of town on vacation or away for a weekend, this could happen to you.

Mold grows between 24-48 hours of the initial water loss. 4 rooms were very effected by this loss but the bathroom had extensive mold growth by the time it was recognized by the home owner.  in this case the bathroom was a total gut and rebuild. The carpets, cabinetry and counter tops all had to be removed as a result of this water to mold problem.
