Improperly Stored Products

Fires Spread quickly. When chemicals or improperly stored items are put together this can cause a Spontaneous Combustion reaction. It does not sound real but believe me it is. When this happens a fire can spread rapidly.

The pictures above do not show you the fire source but how ever the amount of smoke and soot can cause extensive damages. The soot penetrated all materials in this space. Ceilings and rafters all had to be cleaned. During this clean up process Air Scrubbers and Hydrolyze Generators had to be used during the remediation process of the soot clean up. All tile had to be hand cleaned by a large crew who were equipped with proper safety gear. All equipment for this business had to be cleaned and inspected before restoring to functioning condition.

Most jobs like this can take a good bit of time. Since this was a business and it is always a top priority to get them cleaned up and back to normal operations. This job was a all hands on deck job site. It took SERVPRO of South Cabarrus County only 7 days to clean up this facility.
